LICENCE TERMS

The 'Cost of Trust' benchmark report is sold under a single-user, non-transferable licence. Upon purchase, the buyer receives a personal, non-exclusive licence to read, reference, and internally cite the report for professional purposes. Each purchased copy is individually watermarked with the buyer's name, organisation, and purchase date — visibly in the document and in file metadata.

PERMITTED USES

— Internal professional use by the named purchaser— Citation and reference in internal reports, presentations, and compliance documentation— Short quotations with full attribution to 'Kindlee, The Cost of Trust, 2025' for journalistic, academic, or policy purposes consistent with fair use— Sharing with up to two colleagues within the same organisation for internal review purposes

PROHIBITED USES

The following are prohibited without a separate written institutional licence:— Redistribution of the report or any substantial portion of its contents to third parties outside your organisation— Resale, sublicensing, or any commercial reuse— Internal distribution to more than three individuals within the same organisation— Incorporation of ranked data, scores, or heatmap content into third-party databases, intelligence platforms, or subscription services— Publication of substantial excerpts in external-facing materials without prior written consent from KindleeFor institutional licensing (internal distribution to teams, database inclusion, or multi-user access), institutional licences start at €25,000. METHODOLOGY & INDEPENDENCE

This research was conducted independently by Kindlee between September and November 2025. No institution named in the study was a paying client of Kindlee at the time of research.All interactions were conducted using synthetic test personas — structured profiles not associated with any real individual — engaging with each institution's publicly accessible AI chatbot interface. No customer accounts, personal data, or proprietary systems were accessed.Scores reflect a point-in-time assessment conducted in October 2025. AI systems are subject to ongoing updates; scores may not reflect the current state of any institution's systems.

DATA & PRIVACY

No personally identifiable information (PII) was collected, processed, or stored during this research. All interactions used synthetic personas not associated with any real individual.Kindlee does not share or sell buyer information. Purchase enquiries are stored securely and used solely for order fulfilment. Kindlee complies with GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive.
